Lahore, June 18, 2025 — Fatima Fertilizer has once again solidified its position as a leader in innovation, sustainability, and impactful storytelling by winning two prestigious awards at the Pakistan Digital Awards 2025, marking its sixth consecutive year of recognition at this national platform. The company has been honored with two awards: Green Digital Advertising Campaign Award for “Leading Sustainable Change for Pakistan” – Sarsabz UNDP Campaign and Best Content of the Year for the soulful Ramadan Campaign: “Allah Hu Allah Hu” featuring Atif Aslam.

These accolades highlight Fatima Fertilizer’s commitment to driving meaningful change through purpose-led communication, digital excellence, and strategic partnerships.

The Pakistan Digital Awards platform is celebrated for its individuality and impartiality, recognizing and honoring the brilliance of digital platforms and talent. The awards shine a spotlight on outstanding websites, apps, and creators, reflecting the dynamic evolution of public, private, and third-sector organizations in trade and communication.

Fatima Fertilizer’s Sarsabz UNDP Campaign, which earned the Green Digital Advertising Award, celebrates a groundbreaking partnership with the United Nations Development Programme, making Fatima Fertilizer, in partnership with UNDP, the first company in Pakistan to adopt the SDGs Impact Framework.

The campaign emphasizes how Fatima Fertilizer has mapped its business impact across eight core Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), demonstrating its dedication to sustainability and community empowerment. From reducing fossil fuel consumption through solar energy (SDG 7) to promoting soil health and biodiversity (SDG 15), the company is embedding sustainability across every facet of its operations.

The second major accolade awarded to Fatima Fertilizer was the Best Content of the Year for its deeply moving Ramadan campaign, “Allah Hu Allah Hu”. In collaboration with acclaimed vocalist Atif Aslam, the brand reimagined the spiritual classic “Allah Hu” as a heartfelt tribute to the essence of the Holy month. Released across Sarsabz Fertilizer’s digital platforms, the video quickly resonated with millions of viewers, becoming a soulful anthem that echoed across the nation during Ramazan.

This dual recognition at the Pakistan Digital Awards 2025 is a proud moment for all of us at Fatima Fertilizer,” said Rabel Sadozai, Director Sales and Marketing, Fatima Fertilizer. “Winning the Green Digital Advertising Campaign award for our SDGs-led partnership with UNDP, and the Best Content of the Year award for our soulful Ramadan campaign ‘Allah Hu Allah Hu,’ reflects our deep commitment to both sustainability and meaningful storytelling. These awards validate our belief that purpose-driven communication can inspire real change—socially, spiritually, and environmentally.”

Fatima Fertilizer’s continued recognition at the Pakistan Digital Awards not only reflects its excellence in brand storytelling and content creation but also its unwavering commitment to social good, sustainability, and national progress. With these latest honors, the company reaffirms its role as a changemaker, using the power of communication and innovation to shape a more inclusive, empowered, and spiritually enriched Pakistan.

Sarsabz Pakistan mobile app claims fastest growth within the agri-sector

Karachi, October 18, 2022: Being near to completing one year since its launch, the ‘Sarsabz Pakistan’ mobile app has garnered immense popularity and attention amongst the Pakistani farmers’ community. The app recently marked a record number of more than one hundred thousand downloads in a short time span of ten months, making it the country’s fastest-growing mobile app within the agriculture sector and the top-rated educational app on Google Playstore.

The Sarsabz Pakistan app caters to multiple needs of the farming community, providing them with timely farm advisory and information updates to help maximize their crop yield and productivity. The advisory support features of the app include crop planning support to manage multiple farms and crops in a given season with step-by-step alerts on crop management, a calculator tool for planning precise application of fertilizer according to the 4R rule – right source, right rate, right time, right place, requesting general advisory and free soil and water testing visits by qualified Fatima Group agronomists to maximize crop yield through effective use of fertilizer.

At the same time, the information update features of the app also assist the farmers through crucial weather updates and forecasts for timely planning and application of farm inputs, ensuring easy accessibility to fertilizer at company rates through a comprehensive list of nationwide Sarsabz dealers along with their contact and location details, updates on current commodity market rates, and latest news bites related to the agriculture sector.

While expressing her views about this platform, Rabel Sadozai, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fatima Fertilizer said, “The Sarsabz Pakistan app is completely free for farmers to use and benefit from its information and advisory-based features. It serves as a convincing prologue to the fact that digital transformation of Pakistan’s agriculture sector is the only way to realize its utmost potential so that it can play a pivotal role in reviving our over-stressed economy.”

Speaking further about the app’s future improvements, Rabel said, “We plan to further enhance this app by allowing farmers to avail quick micro loans and lease farm machinery on easy terms, so they can procure and manage essential farm inputs in a timely and convenient manner.”

Pakistan’s agriculture sector is transforming at a snail’s pace towards modernisation. However, the success of platforms like the Sarsabz Pakistan app indicates a dire demand for Pakistani farmers to modernize their farming practices through the use of technology and achieve maximum possible growth and efficiency.

Sarsabz Fertilizer’s recently launched campaign, as part of its #SalamKissan initiative related to the upcoming third #KissanDay celebrations on December 18, has received more than four million views in just two days of its launch on Sarsabz’s official Youtube channel.

This is an impressive achievement which helps to highlight an important insight that farmers remain at the heart of our agri-based nation and their appreciation and encouragement stands as our utmost priority and desire.

Pakistan’s small-scale farmers have been consistently suppressed since many decades now, however, their bravery and encouragement has protected this nation through many catastrophical challenges which attempted to reduce our national food security. The most recent examples being the spread of Covid-19 pandemic and the ongoing negative impact of climate change which severely threatened to restrict and reduce food production. But despite of many obstacles and challenges, our brave farmers did not surrender to these challenges and kept working in their fields to increase food production and help the country in achieving food security.

Kissan Day was originally proposed by Sarsabz Fertilizer on December 18, 2019 as a first time ever initiative recognizing and paying tribute to the contributions of Pakistani farmers across the Country. The vision behind celebrating Kissan Day was to provide a platform for farmers to highlight their ongoing issues while engaging stakeholders and policy makers in a dialogue to come up with possible solutions that can benefit these farmers and put them on the path to prosperity. The Federal Government also recognized December 18 as the official ‘Kissan Day’ in Pakistan, to be celebrated every year, which was a big achievement not only for Sarsabz Fertilizers but also for the entire farmer community of Pakistan.
